5 Glam Things To Do With Your Gals This Holiday

#BloggersDoTravel girls

I am SO beyond excited to share today’s post with you. Well for one, I love my #BloggersDoTravel girls and it’s always fun to get together and share our adventures with you. But with the holidays comes lots of glam opportunities to get dressed up!

You’ve seen me style a few of Julia Engel’s beautiful dresses over the last few months. This navy beauty for a friend’s wedding which I plan on wearing again for my cousin’s wedding. And this pretty plaid shirt dress that is such a versatile piece for the closet. Last week you also saw the Kimberly dress. Which if you ask me, is the ideal dress for a holiday work party. I have a black tie optional wedding over my birthday weekend in January and this will for sure be my party dress.

With my gals and I all glammed up for a fun night out, I wanted to share 5 really fun things you and your friends can do this holiday season. It’s always nice to throw on a pretty look and do something a bit more special. So here are my five glam activities you can do with your gals this holiday season.

Five Glam Activities To Do With Your Gals This Holiday Season

Try A New Dinner Spot (A Fancy One!)

I know this one is a no-brainer, but hear me out. Something my friends and I have been trying to do lately is to try new restaurants. We are so guilty of visiting the same few spots in Atlanta. So why not grab your best girlfriends and make a reservation somewhere new and fancy. It’s a great way to celebrate the holidays in style and sip champagne! We rarely choose upscale restaurants to try for obvious reasons.  But to make the exception to spend some quality time with your friends this holiday will be a smart move. A little tip, leave the phones in those clutches and disconnect for a while!

See A Show

Here in Atlanta, we have the Fox Theatre, a great place to see a show any time of year. But sometimes we forget about it, to be honest. There’s usually something pretty good showing whether it’s a comedian, musician or an actual off-Broadway show. It’s the perfect excuse to throw on a party dress and see something great to make memories together. There’s also The Nutcracker, a ballet or the symphony. It’s a nice change of pace to your usual Saturday night plans. For even more fun, add on dinner for the perfect dinner and a show kind of night!

Attend A Gala

There’s never a shortage of charity events and galas this time of year. Why not do something great for your favorite charity or community and find tickets to one that you and your friends can participate in.  They’re usually black tie optional which will allow you and your friends to bring out the pretty dresses! Plus, how fun to get involved and do something meaningful this time of year?

Sip Cocktails At A Hotel Bar

There’s something that I LOVE about a hotel bar. It’s full of people from all over the place and there’s always someone willing to chat with you. So many of the nicer hotels like St Regis or Mandarin Oriental have exceptional bars and lounges to hang out at. Such a great excuse to slip on that dress and try a fun cocktail and gab for hours together. Plus, you may just land yourself a date!

Throw A Holiday Soiree

Several years ago I threw the ultimate holiday party. I had nearly 50 people in my 900 square foot apartment and everyone got all dressed up. It was so much fun and I swore I’d throw it every year after. Unfortunately, I never did. And I still regret not doing it every year. But if you plan to host a party, tell your friends to throw on their best dresses and suits and make it a fancy one!
