The Best Travel Leggings

Whenever I head to the airport or out on a roadtrip, I gravitate to the same travel outfit. Today’s look is just that. Comfortable travel leggings, a cozy oversized sweater and a third piece to tie it together. This is a variation of my usual travel outfit, jeans oversized top and denim or leather jacket. Things have changed though you guys. I discovered these Spanx faux leather leggings and they may be the best travel leggings ever.

These leggings aren’t just for traveling though. Wear them to run errands instead of sloppy sweatpants, with a tunic that may be a tad too short, or as black pants for a casual weekend look. I also love them with a blazer and long loose tee, such a fun chic combo. But personally, these are just the best travel leggings to look and feel good in.

Spanx Faux Leather Legging Sizing

These Spanx faux leather leggings have become a staple in many closets it seems. They’re just everywhere nowadays. If you haven’t given them a try, I highly recommend it. But when figuring out which size to get, do keep in mind that they’re still Spanx. As in, they’re designed to be snug and hold you in a bit. I’m usually a size 4 and wear a size medium in the Spanx faux leather leggings. A small fits too, but the medium are much more comfortable and not as constricting in my opinion.

Spanx also offers their popular faux leather leggings in various colors and prints. Plus, you can now get them in petite sizes and plus sizes too.

How To Look Put Together In Travel Leggings

I do have a few tips on making sure you look your best in faux leather leggings. First, be sure to get the right size. I did a medium in them for size reference. They’re very forgiving and comfortable, but if they’re too tight, they won’t be flattering.

Also, make sure your top covers your butt. Or at least most of it. I think there’s nothing worse than seeing someone’s ass cheeks when they’re wearing leggings. They aren’t pants, they’re leggings. There’s a BIG difference.

Add some structure or a third piece. Whether it’s a denim jacket, a relaxed blazer, or a long cardigan, a third piece can tie it all together and make you look put together instantly.
