Supergoop Invincible Setting Powder Review

In the summer months, SPF is more important than ever. Reapplying every 2 hours is key to keeping your skin sunburn and sun damage free. But it can be hard to do that when you’re out and about, or have a full face of makeup on. One of the products I swear by and always have on me especially when I travel, is the Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45.

Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder Review

Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder Description

This product is an easy to use setting powder that provides 100% sun protection through mineral sunscreen, Zinc Oxide. It’s a brush and powder duo that delivers sun protection, minimize oil and shine with one sweep of the product. It also comes in a few shades if you don’t want a translucent powder. You can choose from light-medium or deep. I prefer the translucent as it works for all skint ones. Makes it super easy to share when you’re out and about with friends who forgot their SPF!

Once you use up your setting powder, you can buy refills to reduce waste and save a little money.

Key Ingredients

Zinc Oxide

For those of you that are looking for a cleaner sunscreen, you usually are looking for Zinc Oxide instead of Oxybenzone which is a chemical sunscreen. Zinc Oxide is a mineral sunscreen and one that’s found in clean beauty brands like Supergoop!. It helps to protect you from suns UVA and UVB rays which can cause skin cancer and skin damage.

Coated Silica

This ingredient when used on the skin in a powder, can help to diffuse light and diminish the appearance of pores and fine lines. This is why I love this product as a setting powder in addition to the other benefits.

How To Apply Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder

One of the reasons why I love this product so much is that it’s ready to use as is. The powder and blush brush are in one easy to use tool that you can just easily sweep this over your face. You’ll take the cap off and slide the plastic sleeve down to expose the brush fully. For your first use, you’ll want to tap the brush on the back of your hand until powder comes out. Then, simply brush it over your face like you would your setting powder with a brush.

When To Use Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder

For The Face

There are two times when you would use the Supergoop! Setting Powder for your face. First at home when you’re applying your makeup. Just use it as your setting powder for that extra bit of protection with SPF and also to keep your makeup in place. The second is to reapply your SPF when you’re out and about. When we sweat, our makeup has a tendency to slide off our faces. This product helps to set your makeup, minimize oil and shine, but most importantly provides more SPF throughout the day if your makeup does start to come off.

If you like, you can also just use this as a way to reapply SPF throughout the day if you don’t want to slather on a cream sunscreen.

For Your Scalp Or Shoulders

This isn’t the official way to use this product, but this is actually why I love this product the MOST for when I’m traveling and on the go. Whenever I travel to warm weather destinations or even just my pool, I always have this with me for how easy it is to apply to not only my face but also my scalp. I tend to get burnt on my scalp on my part when out in the sun for hours and this is such an easy to way to add a little SPF to your scalp without making a mess. I just brush it across my part and I’m good to go.

This product also works in a pinch if you find yourself in the sun a lot longer than you expected and need to reapply to your shoulders so you can avoid a sunburn.

The Verdict

For me, this is a must-have product in my beauty bag whenever I’m traveling to sunny destinations or my pool. It’s so easy to use that it’s a no brainer for staying protected against UVA and UVB rays. There’s nothing worse than a terrible sunburn when on vacation and I wouldn’t dare leave my home without the Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder.

100% buying! Sounds so amazing and I always hate applying cream sunscreen over makeup so this will be very helpful in keeping me sunburn free and protecting my skin during those times. Thanks for sharing!

It’s seriously the best. Ideal for those days that you have a full face of makeup on. But when I travel, I am NEVER without it if we’ll be out in the sun all day exploring. It has saved me a dozen sunburns easily.
