Summer Beauty Products To Try

Essie Polish In Geranium

I am all about a good red, but come summer I like to find a good red/orange for my nails. This is hands down the most perfect summer red if you ask me! PS learn how to do an at home mani right here!

Phsyicians Formula Murumuru Butter Lip Cream

I don’t like having on heavy makeup or lipstick in the warmer months. This butter lip cream from one of my favorite cosmetic brands is ideal for warm humid days. Plus, with SPF 15 you can feel good about protecting your sensitive lips from sun damage. I’ve been loving Pinktini and Samba Red. At under $10, grab them all at CVS!

Physician Formula Lip Cream $8.49 ➡︎

BECCA First Light Priming Filter

Lately my makeup routine has been to use this primer, which is illuminating and evens your skintone, in place of foundation. With some concealer and bronzer/blush, it’s all you need for everyday. It’s basically all I wore while at Montage Palmetto Bluff. no need for a full face when humidity is at 90%!

Bare Minerals BarePRO Glow Liquid Bronzer

I’ve never used a liquid bronzer before this and it is GAME CHANGER. It’s a great way to add some warmth to your face without going crazy. This product plus primer and concealer and I’m good to go!

BareMinerals barePro Glow Bronzer $29 ➡︎

Isle Of Paradise Tanning Drops

My friend Emily turned me onto these. If you want to avoid sun damage and laying by the pool for hours, grab these tanning drops. They turn any of your favorite lotions into a tanning lotion. Just add 3 drops to some moisturizer for each leg. And 2 drops for arms and body, etc. I use the dark ones (purple bottle) and it’s easy to build. Plus, most notably, it doesn’t smell!

Hydrating Lotion With SPF

I’ve been using my Cosmedix Peptide Rich Defense SPF 50 for years, but have also added this glo skin beauty SPF 40 to my beach bag. I love how silky it is. I also recently tried this Glo oil free moisturizer with SPF 40 and it’s really nice and lightweight.

$38 Glo SPF 40 Moisturizer

Cosmedix Exofliating Face Wash

Come summer you should always reevaluate your skincare routine. I get much more oily in the summer as do most people since the sun stimulates oil production. So a more exfoliating cleanser is ideal to remove excess oil and buildup. PS you can check out my full skincare routine here.

$39 Purity Clean Exfoliating Face Wash
