Raise your hand if you’re guilty of running around on the 4th of July in denim cut-offs, a white or red tank and chucks. Sure it’s cute. But I’m 31, it’s time to elevate and look a little more put together, don’t you think? The best way to effortlessly elevate your 4th of July inspired outfit is to choose either red or blue, and go with one of your favorite silhouettes or trends. For me, that’s button-up dresses.
I’m sorry, I just can’t get enough of a buttoned-up dress. I can’t stop buying them and can’t stop wearing them. This week I also grabbed this yellow one because my Abercrombie & Fitch yellow button up got destroyed in Provence (managed to shut it in a door and it got destroyed, so sad!). I’m loving this trend and there’s no better reason to wear a red and white striped version than for the 4th of July. Have any big plans? So far I’ve got nothing, oops!
Since I’m so in love with button style dresses, I’ve rounded up a few more favorites below. It’s seriously such a favorite store for affordable, trendy pieces that still feel a touch classic.
