Last week marked the official start to spring. It always makes me SO happy when we can officially say we’re out of the winter blues and springing forward into warmer weather. I’ll be honest though, the weather hasn’t been great. And today, I just touched down in Germany where it’s FREEZING. So this post is giving me all the warm feels and getting me excited to return to warmer weather soon!
Spring bags are one of my favorite things to purchase for my closet (next to all my white tees of course) for a few reasons. For one, they’re such an easy update to a simple outfit to instantly transform it for the new season. Take literally, jeans and a tee. A big straw bag like my H&M one featured above makes it instantly season ready. They’re also usually fairly affordable. I don’t like to spend a ton on them since they can sometimes fall apart more easily due to the delicate fabric and textures. I like to spend no more than $100 which is what you’ll find here today. And lastly, they’re so pretty that I sometimes display a couple of them on my credenza in my house which you’ve seen here.
I’ve also rounded up my favorite woven bags here last year, but today I want to share affordable favorites so you can buy not one, but maybe two fun spring bags! Plus, not just woven ones! From acrylic bead bags and classic net bags, there’s something for everyone!
My Favorite Spring Bags Under $100
1. Marianne Woven Circle Bag
A circle bag is always a fun option that feels totally new. I love this Marianne woven circle bag and it also comes in three color ways. The black is also really fun!
2. Amalia Half-Moon Clutch
A fun clutch is an easy update to any look. Great for drinks and a night out, this woven bag should definitely replace any leather clutch you’re sporting this summer.
3. Navy KAANAS Phuket Pom Pom Bag
You all know I love me some navy! I love the little pom pom details on this crossbody woven bag. Plus it also comes in a neutral if you’re not sold on navy.
4. Sam Edelman Acrylic Beaded Bag
My friend Emily has this bag in the clear and I am just obsessed with it. It comes in two other colors in case you want something different! Acrylic beaded bags are definitely a NEW spring bag trend and I am kind of loving it.
5. Handmade Net Bag
An absolute must have for the beach or pool, this simple bag will hold your magazines, sunscreen and canned wine! Love this classic staple that every closet should have.
6. Giovanna Square Bag
I love a sweet square bag. Okay, this is technically a rectangle, but you get the point.
7. Rattan Circle Bag
I got this black rattan bag and never realized how much I was obsessed with a black summer bag. I usually never use a black bag in the summer since they often times are leather. But black rattan is the new go to!
8. Braided Net Bag
A fun braided bag is a great update to all the rattan textures in today’s post. Plus, this bold red color (it also comes in yellow!) is a fun change of pace from all the neutrals.
