Sometimes when we shoot looks, things look good. Right? Sometimes, we shoot looks and I HATE it all (I hated this outfit last week actually). It’s not the photographer’s fault, it’s usually just poor planning on my part and the outfit just not working out. But then there are times when you shoot and you AND the photographer are PUMPED about it. This was that outfit. The setting, the light, the colors. All of it. Hannah literally said to me as we were sitting at the coffee shop “these are your brand colors”.

As I begin to revamp the blog look and logo a bit (more to come on this) I’ve been thinking more and more about color combinations, colors I love and how they represent “me” if you will. I’ve always been into navy, right? I mean my bedroom is navy, much of my little “black” dresses are little navy dresses. It’s simply my go-to color. But then there’s the mustard, the hunter green, the cognac. All of it has been getting me excited!

I recently got back some inspiration for my new logo and brand colors (no new site friends, I just love this theme too much and it’s not worth the $4,000+ yes you read that right). The colors were all represented of this and it made me so happy. I’ve never had someone sit down and help me decide colors, vibes, energy and words that describe me and my brand. It’s harder than it sounds and I’m thankful to be finally doing this! So thanks to this outfit being shot in Brash Coffee (who has the best navy) for pulling it all together for me.

If you had a brand, what do you think your colors would be?
