I just chopped off a solid inch or so from my hair this week, and I have to say I feel like a new woman. However, my longer locks were starting to get to the length where I could easily throw it into a low or high messy pony. There’s really nothing I love more than a messy ponytail, to be honest with you. However, now that my ability to do either of the two (high or low) is probably out of the question. I’m going to envy these pretty low ponytail ideas until I’ve got long locks again. From a simple twist like the bottom left (which may actually be my favorite, so simple) to a fancier one with a braid down the middle for a more badass take on the look.
For now though, I’ll be embracing the half top knot instead and finding new ways to reinvent it until I go a little longer. Once it does get longer I think just doing a simple wave to your hair and throwing it in a low pony is also perfection. Just add a little hair around the ponytail and you’ve got a polished look. What other low ponytail ideas have you tried lately for an update to your everyday look?
