It’s officially April, which means this month is going to be a very travel heavy month for me. Yesterday Cathy and I headed out to Charleston for a little R&R. Since our 5th Annual Conference is being held in Chicago this year, we had zero reasons to head to Charleston for 2017 and that made us extremely sad. First and foremost, it’s hands down my favorite southern city and with the jasmine hopefully in full bloom, it was just calling my name! We’ll be here for a few days exploring new restaurants and staying at a brand new hotel as well. More to come on what all we do in a “Postcards From Charleston” post coming next week.
After Charleston, I then head to San Francisco to visit a close friend who moved out there a few months ago. Her birthday is in a few weeks so I figured why not go say hello! I’m excited to see her new life and explore SF with a local. Then I take a quick flight down to LAX to meet up with my friends to head to Coachella, Round 2! We went last year and had such an amazing time, that we knew we had to go back again. I’m STOKED Beyonce bailed, I’m just not a fan friends, sorry! I can’t wait to see Gaga!
Finally, for my third and final trip this month, I’m heading to Dallas to attend the rewardStyle Conference. I went a few years ago and HATED it. I went with no friends, knew no one and just felt so alone. In addition to the isolated feeling, I was also coming off of several other work trips. To say I was drained and just ready to be home is an understatement. Fingers crossed with all the back to back travel this month, we won’t have a repeat situation. Plus, I now thankfully have a great group of blog friends and many of them are going this year which will be great. So, if you’ll be attending let me know, would love to connect with you!
Seems like without a doubt, April will be a busy fucking month. I’m excited to see my old favorites like Charleston, my friend in SF and reunite with my blogging besties.
