Beach Cover Ups That Aren’t Terrible

Beach Cover Ups That Aren't Terrible

The thing I have always hated in my closet are the beach cover ups I own. I don’t know what it is, but I find most of them to be super unflattering or overly expensive. Typically I end up heading to the beach in shorts and a tank. But lately it’s been something on my mind while shopping and I’ve found a few new favorites.

Whether you want to go for a classic dress or romper, or opt for pants or pull on shorts. Beach outfits don’t have to be sloppy or cheap looking. I’ve recently really fallen in love with the pant option. I picked up these Abercrombie & Fitch ones last summer that came with a matching crop top that makes for an adorable set. They’re so light and breezy. Plus, you can easily go from beach to dining to whatever in them. Add a tank, or a linen shirt knotted at the waist for a complete look. Plus, if you wear a one piece swimsuit you can just go as is! It’s a favorite trick in my vacation outfit book.

A few favorite beach dresses from minis to maxis. I always like to make sure my beach dress coverups are made out of cotton or linen so that they dry quickly and are breathable in the heat.

I love a good beach pant. They’re so comfy and can be a really versatile piece in your wardrobe when you pack for vacation. Wear them while exploring and dining out with a one piece swimsuit or a simple fitted tank.

I have the one you’re wearing as well and it is 100% my favorite beach cover up. I’ve had it for three years now and I still reach for it more than any other one. A good purchase for sure!

You are so right! I actually don’t own any beach cover ups. I tend to just use my normal pair of shorts and tee or a light breezy dress for this purpose. I’ll have to check out this beach cover up dress you featured!

I am obsessing over the white beach dress! I always wear shorts and a t-shirt to the beach and it never fails to make me feel like a lump. Need to order this beauty ASAP.
