Before heading to The Biltmore, we stopped in to French Broad for a little sweet treat and coffee. This came highly recommended as a must visit Asheville dessert spot. The case was full of decadent desserts with seasonal flavors. I ordered the chai trifle and it was super yummy (super sweet FYI). It was a hard decision to make because they had pumpkin treats, ice cream, brownies and so much more.
This little gem was just 2 blocks from the hotel we stayed at in Asheville. It seemed liked everything we did was just within 2 blocks of our hotel which was so convenient. Well everything minus The Biltmore. I don’t really know what I was expecting when we went there but I loved it. And want to go back. We hit up the winery (included in all tickets) then more wine at their restaurant. Then toured the home and gardens. Feel like we could’ve spent hours there. If you’re planning a trip there, definitely plan to spend ALL day, as in get there early.
If you plan to visit The Biltmore I recommend more comfortable shoes than these booties I wore. Although comfortable, it was a lot of walking and standing. We also got a late start to the day there so I can’t imagine what my feet would’ve been like if we got there early!
