The Prettiest Combo, Grey Velvet And Burgundy

New Years feels like it was AGES ago. But this little top was worn to ring in 2017 with friends and I had to share the look with you. As I mentioned in this post, I didn’t want a fussy NYE so when I headed to my friends house I wanted to be comfy, yet still put together. Insert this velvet top and one of my favorite pairs of pants. The shoes didn’t stay on for more than 30 minutes, but the effort was there.

I sadly missed the Mariah Carey debacle but caught up soon after the ball dropped. It was definitely a disaster to watch.  But I have to be honest, I don’t think there was much she could do and we all are giving her way too much shit. Team Mariah over here all the way!

PS yesterday we announced the where and when for the 5th Annual Blog Societies Conference!  I couldn’t be more excited to be taking our event to Chicago.  We have some exciting speakers lined up, workshop leaders and brands.  We can’t wait to share more as we begin to finalize everything. If you aren’t already a member, be sure to apply (you can do so here) to be one as it’s a member only event! And if you didn’t see last years epic event, check it out right here.
