West Elm Headboard & Bed / West Elm Bedding / Custom Throws from 11th Thread / West Elm White Tray

When overhauling my bedroom, I knew I wanted a bold wall and this not quite red, not quite coral wall was perfect and helped bring in the color of the duvet. It’s called Gladiola and I’m sort of obsessed with it. Since the wall is so bold, I kept everything else in my room simple, clean and white. This allowed it to not feel too overwhelming especially since it’s such a small room.  If you’re looking for a change, this red bedroom may just be the thing!

A few other changes we made turned out to be one of my favorite things about the room which were the photos above my bed. What used to be pictures of myself with my sister, with the dogs and so on, got a grown up makeover with black and white photos of the cities I’ve lived in. New York, Montreal and Portland.  This was something I never would have thought of on my own. The ladies of W. A. Interiors suggested it and I was obsessed as soon as they mentioned it. I knew it would be a fun way to incorporate my past homes into my room.

Love the wonderful colors, elegant touches and beautiful pieces! But I appreciate most the pics above the bed – they add the sentimental for you. 🙂 Lovely.

I don’t know how I missed the memo that you have a cutie Boston Terrier! I have two crazy Bostons and love pretty much everyone who has a Boston as well. Also, loving that bold wall color. Looks amazing!
