10 Things I’m Loving At Madewell Right Now

I posted an Instagram last week with this outfit and captioned it “The beginning of my Madewell obsession”. I realized when going through some old posts that that was truly one of my first purchases that sparked the complete obsession I now have. Sure I’d gone in there a few times and picked up a thing or two off their sale rack, but guess what? Those items no longer are in my closet. But that button down top still remains, and i’ve recently become OBSESSED. To the point where it’s annoying almost. You know, like wearing it daily like here, here and oh here again!

I basically can’t go into that store without buying something. And I stalk their sale section because often my favorites end up there before the season is even half way over (gotta love that, right?). So today, with so many new things to love, I thought I’d share 10 items I’m totally obsessing over. From pretty dresses, to great accessories, I’m hoping each of these finds their way into my closet sooner rather than later.

And I’d love to know, do you have a store that you’re insanely obsessed with? Mine used to be Express back in the day especially when I had to wear suits to work. But with my more casual 9-5 job (hello, it’s the blog) jeans and casual tops and dresses are what I live in.

1. Ribbed Sweater Tank

The 90’s have been in full swing lately and this striped sweater tank has me reminiscent. I love a good scoop neck tank and let’s be honest, anything striped. Tuck it into your favorite jeans or a skirt for a simple look.

Ribbed Sweater Tank $55

2. Lucena Shopper Basket

Woven bags are becoming all the rage this summer and I’m totally on board with it. I even have a post coming up rounding up all my favorites. This one is now back in stock and perfectly priced at only $50. It’s a great way to get on trend without breaking the bank.

3. Striped Ringer Tee Dress

A summer closet should always have a striped tee shirt dress in it. They’re so easy to just throw on and go and be totally put together. I love to tie a chambray shirt around my waist with these to help give me more shape. Wear with chucks for a casual look, or a fun espadrille to dress it up a bit.

Striped Ringer Tee Dress $78

4. Gamine Mini Skirt

I bought this skirt and am just DYING to wear it as soon as possible. I didn’t even think to add MORE stripes to it like the model here, but hey, I’ll give it a go!

Gamine Mini Skirt $78

5. Stripe Mix Shirtdress

Recently I saw Emily Henderson (a favorite decor blogger) wearing this dress with a big summer hat and I didn’t even have to ask where it was from. I could just tell it was Madewell. I couldn’t get online fast enough to copy her entire look.

Stripe Mix Shirtdress $98

6. Devon Fringe Sandal

I’ve been on a mule kick lately and these fringe ones are just too fun. Since they’re in black, I feel like you’ll totally wear them more than you expect you would even though they’re so playful with the fringe.

Devon Fringe Sandal $158

7. Silky Lily Ruffle Top

I’ll be honest, a good ruffle is so fun, but I just can’t really wear them. They make me look way bigger than I am. So instead, I’m admiring this one from afar and asking my smaller chested, skinnier friends, to buy it and wear it in my honor.

Silky Lily Ruffle Top $98

8. Tassel Earrings

I haven’t been super into jewelry lately and have just been sticking to my thin gold hoops. Boring, I know. These are dainty and not too fancy so they can really be worn any time of day and with tons of different looks. That’s the great thing about blush, it’s the new neutral.

Tassel Earrings $28

9. Indio Sunglasses

Sometimes sunglasses are just way too damn expensive. I know I’m guilty of splurging on them from time to time. It’s nice to find quality sunglasses, that are fashion forward that are affordable. Most of Madewell’s sunnies are around $55, like these, which is the perfect price point if you ask me. This style comes in several different colors but I’m sort of loving this “pale sunset” one.

Indio Sunglasses $55

10. Oxford Bedtime Pajama Set

These are the only items on this list that aren’t technically “new”. I wore these in Charleston and the baby pink and white combo are so sweet. Plus, these are on major sale so be sure to grab them while they’re still in stock!

Oxford Bedtime Pajama Set $19.99

Love all of your picks! For basics, I tend to go back to J. Crew over and over again, everything the carry seems to fit me in all the right places! But some of my other go-tos are LOFT, Nordstrom, and Ann Taylor!
