The 9 Best Things I Grabbed At The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Every year when the Nordstrom sale comes and goes, I always have a few items I regretted not buying. I see them again full price and think “damnit, I wish I grabbed that when it was on sale”. This is sort of why this sale is so epic because you want everything once it’s all over because it’s more of a pre-season sale, versus your normal post season left overs. I’ve learned my lesson though and I now just buy everything I like and love, because you can always just return it if you don’t really love it after you’ve brought it home.  So yes, there’s a pile of things to be returned, but with the sale ending this Sunday, I thought I’d share some of the best things I bought that I haven’t stopped wearing since I bought them.

I’ll say this year were some great shoes and I ended up with lots of new favorites. These blue mules definitely went back, even though they’re so fun, they’re just not a good purchase. But these Puma’s, these are a favorite. I’ve been wearing them non stop! Something about a fresh white sneaker just makes me so happy. But here’s a few of the best things I bought that you should definitely grab before prices go back up on Monday.

1. Puma Sneaker

Probably one of my most worn NSale finds for sure, these Puma’s are super on trend for fall. Plus, they’re comfy! It’s a nice update to my usual white Adidas as I’ve worn the heck out of those.

2. BP Distressed Black Denim Jacket

You know I love a good denim jacket. So a black distressed one was a great addition to my go to. I tend to wear my denim jacket a little too often, so adding this black one was a nice change of pace. Plus, with the humidity finally breaking a bit in Atlanta, this has been great to throw on over dresses at night. Be sure to size down as it’s definitely oversized.

3. Caslon Blush Sneakers

Duh, I had to get blush sneakers! I mean these Adidas are starting to get scuffed up, so before they get too destroyed, I had to add another pink pair to my closet, right? These run super small, I had to size up almost a full size. I’m usually an 8 maybe an 8.5 and ended up in the 9s. PS you may remember me wearing them here.

4.WAYF Pajama Top

I wore this to on the blog last week and almost wore it again this week. Oops! It’s that good. I’m always on the hunt for good white blouses as they’re so versatile and are always in style. I love that this one has the black piping detailing. It’s a fun update to a basic white blouse.

5. Nike No Show Socks

I almost always buy a pack of socks during the Nordstrom sale. Why? Because they’re on freaking sale and always at a great price. Plus, I feel like I am always slowly losing socks. So it’s nice to re-up with some fancy Nike socks if you ask me every year. These are also great with my two new sneakers, my usual go to no show socks actually show with them. So these were definitely needed.

6. Madewell Transport Striped Tote

I’ve been eyeing the Madewell transport tote for at least a year now. I have had this leather bag for YEARS from my old day job at Alternative Apparel. It was my go to bag for throwing my laptop into when heading out to work at a coffee shop. The only bad thing about it, is that it doesn’t hold its shape. It’s just a limp bag and it’s kind of sad. I was definitely on the fence with this one though since it’s the most expensive thing I purchased during the sale. However, I’ve already been using it for lugging around my crap and it was so worth it.

7. BP Suede Mules

The mule is the one shoe trend you HAVE to get on board with this season. It’s great with dresses, skirts, jeans, you name it! I grabbed the gray and have already worn them a few times. They’re also pretty darn comfortable. I have to say, this may be one of my FAVORITE buys at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

8. Madewell Jeans

I bought these jeans months ago in the regular denim wash, and once I saw they came in a grey version I HAD to have them. They fit great, super comfy and I wear them way more than I like to admit to. Like already wore them here, and currently wearing them today while at #TBScon in Chicago.

9. SPANX Undie-tectable Lace Hipster Panties

I’ve talked about these SPANX panties before and this is the time to buy them. It’s rare for SPANX to go on sale so I like to stock up when it happens. These panties are AMAZING for wearing under fitted dresses or jumpsuits. They smooth you out without that super strong sucking you in technology that their usual SPANX do. Which means, they’re ultra comfortable. If you need more of that SPANX technology, they also have these on sale. But these panties are great for everyday.
