The Best Lightweight Summer Foundations You Have To Have

The best lightweight summer foundations, makeup flat lay - My Style Vita @mystylevitaOnce it starts to warm up in Atlanta, the humidity level simultaneously follows suit. I’m a sweater and although I’ve found some great products to keep my makeup on my face (finally), I still don’t want to wear a ton of product in the heat.  I’ve found a few favorite products from BB Creams to illuminators that I think are great, lightweight and help to make the transition from winter to summer foundation easily without sacrificing coverage. There’s nothing worse than having a full face of heavy makeup on in the summer heat, so today’s all about those great lightweight foundations. Keep scrolling to see the best lightweight summer foundations you just have to have.

I discovered this product while in London with Burberry a few months ago. I love the coverage it offers while still being a nice lightweight BB cream. It’s nice and dewy, so if you’re oily (like me) be sure to set it with a loose powder and setting spray. I really love this powder and this spray. More to come on my favorite primers and setting products soon!  I’m also in between two colors with Burberry’s BB cream, so I mix two of them together, rub it into my finger tips and apply to my face for the perfect hue.

2. NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint

I’ve always been a NARS foundation or tinted moisturizer fan for years. While at their store opening last year, the girls were raving about the velvet matte and said I had to try it. Well it’s now my favorite thing. It’s definitely the most coverage offered in this list but still makes you feel like you aren’t all done up. I love that it also has SPF 30 in it as I’m a big advocate for sun protection whenever possible.

3. Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base

This is like a luminous moisturizer that’s just incredible. It’s ideal for really wanting that no makeup look. This won’t cover, but it’ll illuminate your skin and if you go for the slightly darker shade, it gives you a nice tinted glow as if you’re just been sun kissed while enjoying coffee and a little work outside. It’s kind of amazing and feels just beautiful on your skin. I like to put this on  and also add the Burberry Cream over top. It’s a great duo that provides super light coverage for those hot sweaty days.

The Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base sounds right up my alley! Right now I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer as my foundation as I cannot handle anything too heavy. I’ll have to give that a try though.
