I still can’t believe that a week ago I was in Greece exploring Santorini and eating all the Greek food and wine I could possibly consume. I had the most AMAZING time and will be sharing more looks and highlights throughout the week. But first up is this cute little blue dress I wore around Oia to explore one day. It was perfect for throwing on after our 5 hour boat tour since I was hot and sweaty and didn’t want to wear any more clothing than I needed to.

Before I headed out on my travels, I was on the hunt for the perfect little blue dresses and literally checked every single site I could think of. I was having the hardest time finding great pieces that would also work in my everyday wardrobe with ease that weren’t super expensive. I stumbled onto this one at Revolve, along with a few others that ended up working out, and can’t wait for it to be warm again in Atlanta. It’s so easy, just throw it on and go and is under $50. Paired it with these J. Crew espadrilles that survived hours of walking these cobblestone paths and my new grey cross body. It was truly the perfect Santorini look in the best blue dress ever.

PS I clearly didn’t shoot this look after that 5 hour boat ride, I more so looked like this. Hot mess. I learned from NYFW that spending an hour with a photographer to capture all the looks you wore was totally worth it. I partnered up with Nikos who works in Santorini and shot a few of the looks that I wore throughout my trip. It was nice to get up super early and stroll around the town when no one was around with a local.  Something about a touristy city that’s still quiet in the morning was so much more fun to me. I loved seeing the shops open and getting the first crepe and coffee from the local creperie.  You can see our epic breakfast on Instagram right here.

So now I have two new things I plan to do on all future trips, get up super early at least one day to see cities when they’re still quiet and also find a great local photographer to work with. It was not only super fun to hang with a local, but so nice to get a little work done and not have to worry about it the rest of the trip.
