Very rarely do I swoon over something so much that I think about it constantly and then order it.  I’m more of an impulse shopper and just buy a ton of random (affordable) stuff on a whim and then return 90% of it. It’s a terrible habit and I blame blogging and flash sales that happen every other day on just about EVERY website now. But the thing I don’t do is buy expensive stuff. Very rarely do I splurge on shoes or bags as I’ve had a bad experience with designer shoes in my past. I’ll often spend a bit on bags for the new season as it’s something I wear daily and think they’re worth the money when they’re of a great quality. These Vince Haley sandals were over on Shopbop and I have honestly been eyeing them for at least 2 months. During their big F&F sale (which is going on again TODAY and it’s the last day!) I ended up buying them in black and brown. Because you never know when they arrive which you’ll be drawn to. I was of course obsessed with both but knew with the hefty price tag, I would only allow myself to keep one of them. Black it was. And I’m so happy I did. The wooden wedge heel is sort of insane and makes a fun statement. They’re also super comfortable which is always a plus. I think you’ll be seeing a lot more of these on the blog. These are my first ever Vince shoes, and I have to say that I am pretty impressed.

What do you splurge on? Is it great jeans, or shoes, or awesome sunglasses? It’s always interesting to see what others want to spend their hard earned money on.

I’m a similar shopper and rarely spend more than $50 on an item. There’s no need to with so many sales like you said! I do find that jeans, shoes and sunglasses are the items I don’t mind spending more money on though. Especially sunglasses since I wear them everyday living in Las Vegas. I love the heel on those sandals, definitely worth the money!

Oh yes I forgot about jeans! I always invest in great jeans. I find they last longer, fit better and just overall do the job. Oh and yes, you definitely need good sunglasses for Vegas, my sister used to live there and she always had a good collection!

I’m all for splurging on bags because like you said, when they’re of great quality, they’ll last a lifetime! I literally ruin my shoes in 6 months, so I’ve never been one to splurge on a pair of designer heels (as much as I’d love to). But I’m loving this entire look, and the shoes you picked are perfect! You made a good choice by going with the black ones 😉

Thinking of ordering this sandals today–they are beyond beautiful. Did you find that they fit true to size?
