There’s nothing that screams cozy winter flavors like a good chocolate martini. I never think to order these while I’m out which is just absurd. They make for the perfect dessert cocktail and honestly have fewer calories than a slice of a cake. Because let’s be honest, if I order the cake, I’m eating the whole thing. So it’s a good call to order the chocolate martini and not only get your chocolate fix, but also your buzz fix.
I’m whipping up my favorite chocolate martini recipe today with a little twist. Sure you could use boring plain vodka, but when your base starts with chocolate whipped vodka, you know you’re going to create something extra special. Adding in a little Bailey’s makes it of course, Irish, and creme de cacao helps to make this cocktail super decadent and really rich and chocolatey. I like to garnish with a a few shavings of chocolate, or if you like, a cookie of some sort for something a little special. I have to say this will be the best chocolate martini you’ll ever have, it’s just that good. This is a great cocktail to serve for Valentine’s Day or when you’re in need of a sweet pick me up on a chilly night. But I also don’t see why you couldn’t serve this on Sunday morning with pancakes….no judgement over here.
