I’m beyond excited to finally share some more details and photos about the fun filled weekend that #SBScon was. Southern Blog Society hosted it’s 2nd networking event on July 11-13th here in Atlanta GA at the W Hotel Buckhead. We kicked off the weekend with a little Night Cap at Whiskey Blue on the roof of the W with an AMAZING view of downtown. It was a great way to kick everything off so everyone can meet one another. We sipped on champagne and treated ourselves to XK Macarons (the earl gray ones were hands down my favorite). Above are a few gals from last years brunch made it again this round; it was so nice to get to catch up with them a year later!

Day Two of #SBScon and the first day for our Coffee Talk attendees was held at the W Hotel Buckhead. A light breakfast was provided to kick start the morning and notebooks by Tiny Prints with Graphic Image pens were on each table ready for note taking.. We had several speakers, Ahalogy to help everyone optimize their Pinterest pages, ShopSense to monetize your blogs and Amy Flurry of Recipe For Press to give us some insight in pitches, press releases and how to get noticed. We also made a very exciting announcement during this time, Southwest Blog Society is officially launching September 1st and is now accepting applications! If you live in the Southwest (Texas, Utah, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Hawaii and Colorado) we would love to have you apply to be one of our first members here.
The interactive brand networking suite was also a huge hit. We had 6 amazing regional, national and international brands in attendance to meet our members. Asos, Kendra Scott, INTIMACY, Dermalogica, (PLA) Beauty and Dress Up. They all brought some of their newest arrivals and Fall previews for a sneak peek.
Once our speakers and meetings wrapped, we headed to South City Kitchen for the most amazing lunch hosted by Asos. We all hopped on the cutest Trolley to head to SCK. We were greeted with gorgeous flowers from Flower Child Weddings and adorable wooden #SBScon decorations. Ashley, the genius behind this cute brand, created the perfect Southern ambiance to pair perfectly with our Asos crush cocktails and fried chicken.
Finally, to say adios to our new blogging friends, Sunday was a relaxing pool part at the Wet Deck. Southern Living Magazine was the host and it was great getting to chat with their editor. You can see their new 5 favorite bloggers they met right here. We toasted to the weekend with champagne and one final swag bag. You see, the SBS girls don’t play around when it comes to swag. Let’s be honest, we make sure our girls leave with very full suitcases.
All in all, this weekend was beyond my wildest dreams. Planned for months, and I mean MONTHS, this event finally came to life with some help from our amazing sponsors.
A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR FOLLOWING SPONSORS!
